Programmes

Improvements to the health of your catchment are being undertaken by the Northern Rivers CMA through seven broad programmes - community, land use planning, biodiversity, water, coastal management, marine, and soil/land resource.

We work in partnership with councils, landholders, Landcare and community groups, government agencies and non-government organisations to carry out projects that contribute to the goals identified in our Community, Land Use Planning, Biodiversity, Water, Coastal Management, Marine, Soil/Land Resource and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage programmes.

Managing Native Vegetation

The Native Vegetation Act 2003 came into force in NSW on December 2005 and introduced a new approach to the management of native vegetation across NSW. Learn more about managing native vegetation.
